New York Coin Donation Drive for Coinomi Wallet Fork Support

New York Coin Donation Drive

The community development team has received the following request from their negotiations with Coinomi:

The payment of 1 BTC is required for Coinomi to support the fork as of 10/3/2018. This is down from the original 2 BTC requested originally on August 9, 2018.

This donation drive will take all of us working together and donating what we can to the official developer war chests.

Any amount will be helpful, but we recommend $5 USD worth of FIAT, NYC, BTC, LTC, or ETH as this will help us reach the goal faster.

If you prefer donating USD, Click here to be redirected to our official GoFundMe page.

If you are donating BTC, LTC or ETH please note that the addresses are Segwit enabled therefore donations sent from non-Segwit wallets may not transfer. It is recommended to use exchanges or wallets that are Segwit enabled such as the ones that Coinbase/Coinbase Pro aka GDAX have here.

If you have a Coinbase/GDAX account, then use those credentials to login to the new Coinbase Pro website. At the time of this writing, if you have a Coinbase/GDAX account you can sign into Coinbase Pro and all of your balances from Coinbase/GDAX will show up on the Coinbase Pro interface via the deposit window. You’ll want to deposit Coinbase funds into Coinbase Pro to withdraw to one of the donation wallets below as the service allows for free withdrawals.

We have until mid to late October to come up with the 1 BTC needed before the fork goes into effect at block 4.8 million.

Thank you for your continued support of the developers and New York Coin.

The information about the Security & Stability Fork can be read from the first announcement and most recent update.

All donations are final and no refunds will be issued.

Please follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, subscribe to our YouTube and join us on Discord and Telegram.

The mining rig and poker chips are great initiatives, I really hope we meet this deadline.. Really wish I had the resources to do more.

Hi, yes you can send your NYC from Coinomi to the NYC address that is listed first.
The other addresses are for other coins, Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), and Ethereum (ETH).

Thanks for donating to the fund! Be sure to fill out the entry form at the bottom of this page: https://blog.nycoin.community/newyorkcoin-mining-rig-raffle-poker-chip/ if you donated $5 or more.
